FCA was engaged by Thompson Health for its outpatient surgical services, endoscopy, and rehab/sports medicine addition and renovations. The new outpatient drop-off entrance leads to a 2-story lobby with family waiting, a new ASC with 6 new state-of-the-art operating rooms, 4 endoscopy rooms, post-anesthesia recovery unit bays, pre-operative, and Stage II recovery bays.
This also includes new construction and renovations on the same floor for a central sterile processing suite and staff support spaces. The facility holds all new rehabilitation and sports medicine gyms complete with 13 new private treatment spaces, including a large sports agility training zone and in-ground therapy pool. The laboratory renovation and expansion accommodate state-of-the-art automation technology in the core lab, new blood bank, and histology lab. The replacement dietary suite includes a new 240-seat cafeteria, open plan servery featuring demonstration, deli and hot food selections, and renovated kitchen.
