The project began with a master plan study to consolidate multiple research buildings and provide a connection between the research support administration, the research laboratories and the pilot plant facility. The building combines of three floors of product development laboratories with adjacent open floor plan office space for the research administrative support functions to facilitate direct interaction to enable a faster speed to market process. The building provides a connector link on the campus and is the arrival point to the site.
